When is the 2027 Utah general deer rifle hunt?
DWR has not published 2027 season dates. The 2026 general-season any legal weapon (rifle) buck deer hunt ran Oct. 17 to 25.
When does the Utah general archery deer season start?
In 2026 it ran Aug. 15 to Sept. 11. 2027 dates post when DWR publishes the 2027 guidebook.
Do dates differ by unit?
The 2026 general-season dates were the same on all general-season units, per the guidebook table. Some units offer an early rifle hunt and some have restricted weapon hunts. See each unit page for its hunt codes.
