What is the 2027 Utah elk draw deadline?
DWR has not announced it. In 2026, limited-entry bull elk and once-in-a-lifetime applications were due by the end of the big game application period, March 19 (8 a.m. MDT) to April 23 (11 p.m. MDT).
Do general-season elk permits need the draw?
No. The 2026 guidebook lists general-season archery elk permits on sale July 7, any bull permits July 9 and spike permits July 16, sold over the counter.
Can I edit my application before the deadline?
Yes. The 2026 guidebook says you can edit your application free at any time during the application period.
